This License Agreement ("Agreement") sets forth the terms and conditions under which you ("User") may use the Storybord WordPress Theme ("Theme") developed and owned by [Your Name or Company Name] ("Licensor").
1. Ownership and Copyright
All components of the Storybord theme are the intellectual property of the Licensor. This includes all:
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, icons, and design elements
UI/UX layout and visual styling
Documentation, demo content, and branding materials
You may not copy, reuse, distribute, or modify any part of the theme without explicit written permission, except where noted in Section 2.
2. PHP and WordPress GPL Compliance
Per WordPress guidelines, all PHP code that interacts with WordPress core is provided under the GNU General Public License v2 (GPLv2). You may reuse, modify, or distribute these PHP components only under the terms of the GPL.
This includes:
functions.php
template-tags.php
index.php
and other theme template files containing PHP
All other assets (CSS, JS, design, and media files) are excluded from the GPL and remain the sole property of the Licensor.
3. License Grant
By purchasing, downloading, or using the Storybord theme, you are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the theme for personal or commercial projects under the following conditions:
You may install and use the theme on one or more websites you or your organization own.
You may not redistribute, resell, or repackage the theme or any portion of its proprietary assets.
4. Restrictions
You may not:
Modify and resell the theme or derivative works.
Share the theme with others not covered under your license.
Claim ownership or authorship of the theme or its design.
5. Termination
Violation of this license will result in automatic termination of usage rights without refund or recourse. Legal action may be pursued in the event of copyright infringement.
6. Warranty Disclaimer
This theme is provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind. The Licensor is not responsible for any damages resulting from its use.
