Greg’s AI (“the App”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is a marketing analytics and AI-powered insights platform created by Jeff Mullins. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information obtained through Meta technologies (Facebook and Instagram APIs) and other connected third-party platforms.

We are committed to using data responsibly and in accordance with Meta’s Platform Terms, Developer Policies, and all applicable privacy laws (including GDPR and CCPA, where applicable).

By using Greg’s AI, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

Greg’s AI only collects the minimum data required to deliver analytics, insights, and features connected to your social media and marketing accounts.

2.1 Meta Platform Data

When you authorize our Meta integration, we may collect:

  • Public profile information (name, profile ID, profile picture)

  • Business account information for Facebook Pages & Instagram Accounts

  • Content performance metrics (impressions, reach, likes, comments, video views, stories data)

  • Ad account and campaign metrics (ad spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, conversions, etc.)

  • Instagram media metadata (content type, publish date, performance metrics)

We do not collect or store personal user messages, passwords, or private friend data.

2.2 Additional Connected Services

If you choose to connect other platforms (GA4, Shopify, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), we may receive:

  • Traffic analytics

  • Website event data

  • E-commerce performance

  • Content performance data

2.3 First-Party Pixel Data

If you install Greg’s AI’s tracking pixel, we may collect anonymized behavioral data (page views, clicks, sessions, funnels).

3. How We Use Data

We use the data we collect exclusively to:

  • Provide analytics dashboards and performance reporting

  • Generate AI-powered insights and recommendations

  • Optimize marketing funnels and content strategies

  • Identify traffic bottlenecks and user behavior patterns

  • Manage app functionality (authentication, permissions, integrations)

No data is sold or shared with advertisers, brokers, or third parties for independent use.

Data is never used to build profiles about individuals outside of your business context.

4. How We Share Data

We may share data only with:

  • Service providers that help operate Greg’s AI (e.g., Nango API, database hosting providers, analytics tools)

  • Legal authorities only if required by law or legal process

We do not share Platform Data with external organizations for marketing, advertising, or unrelated business purposes.

5. Data Storage & Security

We protect your data using industry-standard security practices, including:

  • Encrypted databases

  • Secure API authentication (OAuth with short-lived tokens)

  • Access controls and credential rotation

  • HTTPS-only communication

  • Role-based access for internal systems

Your Meta data is stored only for as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain Meta Platform Data only while your account is connected and actively using the App.

You may request deletion of your data at any time.

To request data deletion:

Email support@gregs.ai with the subject line: “Data Deletion Request – Greg’s AI”
Include the email address associated with your account.

Once we receive your request, we will:

  1. Remove all stored Meta data connected to your business

  2. Disconnect your Meta integrations

  3. Confirm deletion within 48–72 hours

If you disconnect the app from Meta’s Business Integrations, we automatically delete associated data within 7 days.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access data we have collected

  • Correct or update inaccurate data

  • Delete your data

  • Withdraw consent by disconnecting your Meta integration

  • Request a copy of stored data

You may manage integration permissions anytime through Facebook/Instagram’s Business Integrations settings.

8. Children’s Privacy

Greg’s AI is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.
We do not knowingly collect or store personal data from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as needed. Updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.
